SERVICES PROVIDED

Christine's Cat Care provides the following services -

Beds & blankets - we have a variety of beds to suit all cats needs, self heating fleece blankets.
Food & water bowls - we use water dispensers and metal food bowls.
Toys & activities - all our toys are washed/cleaned between bookings.
Cat Litter - we use a natural plant fibre cat litter. This is a low dust, biodegradable litter and kind to the environment.
Litter Trays - we mainly use large covered, corned shaped litter trays. The lids can be closed or opened depending on the cats needs.
Grooming & Nail Trimming - we have washable brushes and will happily groom your cat/s and can trim your cat/s nails or bathe eyes at no extra costs. This will only be carried out if the cat/s are happy and allow this to be done. Nails will only be clipped if requested by owners or there is a problem with cats nails during their stay.
Medications - we will attempt to give all oral medications. We will administer insulin injections to diabetic cats. We cannot guarantee to give insulin at specific times due to other needs in the Cattery but it will be given at 12 hourly intervals.
Use of Feliway Spray - if we know your cat is anxious we can use feliway spray on bedding etc to calm and comfort them.
Home collection/drop off service - if you struggle to get to Christine's Cat Care Boarding Cattery I can collect or drop off your cat/s from/to your home address. Due to running the Cattery alone I can only do this in the areas close to the Cattery (Galashiels, Tweedbank, Newstead, Gattonside, Melrose) and only if it is convenient and fits in with the day to day running of the Cattery. Please discuss this with me and I'll do my best to accomodate. There is an additional cost for this (£2 per mile to and from the Cattery).

You are more than welcome to bring any items that you feel will make your cat/s stay more comfortable and allow them to feel at home.
NOTE - we do not provide any food. We request that enough food for the duration of their stay is brought with your cat/s.
